Coverage, enrichment and clocks

Coverage uses the release’s declared match census. An absent assessment remains in the denominator. Unknown, missing, partial and not applicable are different states; none should be converted to a false boolean or a numeric zero.

Read global coverage for a named release and per-match coverage before choosing a family. Report discipline, season, family, grain and definition version with each percentage. Do not add percentages or substitute historical inventory percentages for a newly measured release.

Enrichment semantics

FamilyAvailable meaningUnsupported inference
RallySource categories and explicitly reconstructed lengthsBucket midpoint as observed exact length
StrokesClassified outcome summaries by match/set/side/type/wingOrdered shots, ball trajectories or tracking
Time evidenceObserved, relative or estimated clocks with role and anchorRelative duration promoted to observed UTC

Enrichment density uses accepted canonical points as its denominator, not a known true complete-match length. Some releases do not project an enrichment family; the capability metadata distinguishes that case from a projected but missing family.

Time evidence

Preserve kind, role, anchor, alignment, confidence and quality. An observed instant is not interchangeable with a received clock, estimated event or relative elapsed duration. Relative zero is valid. Unknown anchors stay unknown. Conflicting and nonmonotonic evidence remains visible rather than being silently collapsed into a fabricated precise clock.

Do not derive actual match start by subtracting a duration from an end clock unless an explicitly supported definition establishes that calculation. Unknown calendar dates are independent from availability of point clocks.
